Members Only Portal – Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to registered Batchewana First Nation members accessing the Members Only Portal.
Welcome to the Batchewana First Nation Members Only Portal (the “Portal”). This Portal has been created to provide registered Batchewana First Nation members with secure access to information, services, documents, announcements, and resources intended for members only.
1. Eligibility
Access to the Members Only Portal is restricted to registered Batchewana First Nation members who have been issued login credentials.
Your access is personal and intended solely for your individual use.
2. Confidentiality
All information contained in the Portal is considered confidential to Batchewana First Nation members.
By using this Portal, you agree:
- Not to copy any documents, reports, images, videos, or other content obtained through the Portal without the prior written consent of Batchewana First Nation,
- Not to share or disclose any information obtained through the Portal without the prior written consent of Batchewana First Nation, and
- Not to post any content on social media that contains any information obtained through the Portal or otherwise disseminate information obtained through the portal without the prior written consent of Batchewana First Nation.
3. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree that you will:
- Keep your username and password secure,
- Not share your login information with anyone, and
- Notify Batchewana First Nation immediately if you believe your account has been compromised or accessed without authorization.
Batchewana First Nation is not responsible for any consequences related to unauthorized access resulting from the sharing of login credentials.
4. Suspension or Termination of Access
Batchewana First Nation reserves the right to suspend or revoke Portal access if a user violates the Terms of Use including by sharing login credentials or otherwise acting in a manner that compromises the security or integrity of the Portal, or misusing information contained in the Portal.
Acknowledgement
By selecting “I Agree”, I acknowledge that:
- I am a registered Batchewana First Nation member.
- I am accessing the Portal with credentials that were issued to me.
- I have read and understand these Terms of Use.
- I agree to comply with the Terms of Use.
- I understand that unauthorized use or disclosure of Portal information may result in the suspension or revocation of my access to the Portal.
- I understand that Batchewana First Nation may update these Terms of Use from time to time.
