Batchewana Band Industries Ltd. (BBIL) seeks to attract diverse companies that will offer skilled employment training opportunities and professional growth to the youth of Batchewana First Nation. Ideally, participation in such companies would also provide revenues to BBIL and its shareholders.

Corporation
Batchewana Band Industries Ltd. (BBIL) is a First Nation owned and operated corporation incorporated under the Ontario Business Corporations Act to oversee the development and management of BHIP. We were incorporated on November 5, 1971, one of the first its kind in Canada. The corporation is managed by a Board of Directors appointed from Batchewana First Nation’s Chief and Council. There is currently a staff compliment of an Industrial Park Manager, Administrative Clerk, internship positions and seasonal labourers.
